Bio

Nabila practices in the areas of criminal law, regulatory defence, and constitutional law. Prior to joining Fenton Law Barristers, Nabila articled at a leading law firm in downtown Toronto, where she gained experience in litigation, labour and employment law, and regulatory matters, including quasi-criminal regulatory compliance proceedings.

Nabila earned her Juris Doctor from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. During law school, she developed a keen interest in criminal law and competed on the Gale Cup Criminal Law Competitive Mooting Team, as well as other mooting competitions. She also held several leadership positions as a student ambassador and served as a student leader with the school’s Pardons Clinic, assisting individuals with record suspension applications and navigating the criminal justice system.

Prior to law school, Nabila graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs, and the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society. Before pursuing her legal career, she worked in public policy and community development, including on housing policy and initiatives supporting marginalized and vulnerable communities.

Nabila is fluent in Arabic.
